Support ReMo’s Read More! Initiative
Do you want to foster Maine students’ love of reading?
ReMo is a Lewiston-based edtech company founded by a Maine educator with 16 years of experience teaching in the greater Lewiston area. At ReMo, we believe that every student is a reader with unique strengths and gifts to share with their reading community. By leveraging technology and data, ReMo provides a space for educators and students to come together through books, experiences, and communities.
ReMo’s two web-based platforms for educators and students in grades 4-12 are designed to foster a love of reading, grow each student’s sense of identity as a reader, and to cultivate a community of readers across Maine. Our vision is to create a new definition of a “good reader” that is strengths-based and to build a data-based system that empowers all readers to design their own reading path with support from educators.Â
Reading is personal AND social, which means your support of ReMo makes a difference for each student, teacher, and the education system as a whole. We offer two ways to make a difference: (1) sponsoring a classroom or school enables students to access ReMo for free and (2) supporting our collaboration with the Maine Student Book Award (MSBA) Committee and North Star YA (NSYA) Committee builds readership across Maine through engaging, meaningful reading challenges that cultivate a sense of community for students across the state.Â

Sponsor a Classroom or School
Support a Maine school or classroom of your choice with a tax-deductible donation that will allow Maine students in grades 4-12 to access ReMo for free for one school year. A $300 donation supports one classroom, and a $3,000 donation allows all classrooms and interventionists in one school building to access ReMo.
Support Maine Reading Challenges
Expand readership across Maine by supporting innovation that digitizes statewide reading challenges to make reading, voting, and goal tracking easier. Built by ReMo in partnership with the Maine Student Book Award (MSBA) and the North Star YA Award (NYSA) Committees, this platform aims to increase Maine student participation in programs that promote reading for grades 4-12.
