Meet the 2025 Award Recipients
Ray Geiger Chamber Champion Award
Pam Ashby, Lydia Media
The Chamber’s highest honor is reserved for those who go above and beyond — and Pam does just that. Through her leadership of LA Metro Magazine, Uncle Andy’s Digest, and the Lunch Bunch Podcast, Pam has not only amplified the stories of our region, but has also championed the Chamber’s mission at every turn.
Whether it’s offering new members a warm welcome and media exposure, showing up (early!) to every event, or finding creative ways to collaborate, Pam leads with kindness, innovation, and heart. She knows that when the Chamber is strong, our businesses and communities thrive — and she puts that belief into action every day.
Theresa Samson Women’s Business Leadership Award
Alisa Roman, Lewiston Public Schools
Alisa has transformed the way school nutrition and transportation services operate in our community — from pioneering universal free school meals to advocating for farm-to-school initiatives that support both students and local farmers. Under her leadership, Lewiston was among the first in the state to adopt scratch cooking and local food sourcing on a wide scale.
She’s not just feeding minds and bodies — she’s feeding change. A statewide and national advocate, Alisa continues to raise the bar for what it means to lead with purpose, impact, and vision. Her work is a powerful example of how women in leadership are shaping the future of our region.
Ken Additon Economic Development Champion
Scott Riccio, Northeast Charter and Tour Co.
Starting with one bus in his Auburn backyard, Scott has grown Northeast Charter into one of Maine’s leading transportation companies — all while staying rooted in and committed to the Lewiston Auburn community. Whether it’s offering discounted transportation to local schools and nonprofits, helping families through tough times, or bringing thousands of visitors to experience the best of Maine, Scott’s impact is felt far and wide. From job creation to community care, Scott is the definition of economic leadership with heart.
Leading Through Change Award
Justin and Sam Juray, Just In Time Recreation
In the wake of the October 25th tragedy that shook Lewiston and touched hearts across the nation, Justin and Sam have demonstrated unwavering strength, resilience, and compassion. Their leadership in reopening Just-In-Time Recreation—not just as a business, but as a place for healing, connection, and community—has embodied what it means to lead with both confidence and vulnerability. Through their courage and commitment, the Jurays have become a symbol of hope, recovery, and the enduring spirit of Lewiston.
Heart of the Community Award
Susan Lonchamps, Webb’s Market
From the aisles of Webb’s Market to the chambers of City Hall, Susan Longchamps is a force for good in Lewiston. As a small business owner, real estate investor, and City Councilor, Susan leads with compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to her neighbors.
She’s revitalized homes, mentored young entrepreneurs, and advocated for policies that support recovery, housing, and economic opportunity. Whether sponsoring the Pine Street Block Party or supporting Safe Voices, her impact is both wide-reaching and deeply personal.
